let's jump right in...

I'm currently trying out the paleo diet. I'm not brave enough to jump in head first yet, but after a Christmas holiday of Lindor chocolates and Coca Cola, anything is an improvement! I made my first paleo meal and dessert tonight:


Slow cooker chicken with EVOO, herbs, mushrooms, and onions; turnips; and some greens with a paleo vinaigrette (made it myself from EVOO, lemon juice, and some herbs)

Verdict: chicken was great....even the bf liked it. I'm slowly learning to like EVOO, but I did enjoy the salad. Brownies are pretty good......not quite the same as a sugary box mix, but it'll do when you're craving some chocolate!

My next experiment will be some paleo ice cream........coconut cream with frozen fruit, blended. :)
